Soma [Generic Carisoprodol] is a muscle relaxer. It is commonly used to treat discomforting injuries and other painful musculoskeletal conditions resulting from severe muscular pain and uneasiness of bone or pain due to sprain. This medication is used to numb the sensation of pain between the brain and the nerves. Generic Soma (carisoprodol) works by creating chemical reaction on the soreness sensations among brain and nerves. However, adequate rest is very important aspect in case of treatment with soma medicine.

Talk with your doctor or pharmacist if you want to consume Generic soma during pregnancy. There is not much information about the effects of Soma during pregnancy. Soma may be able to cause birth defects in unborn child. Therefore, consult with your doctor about the risk and benefit of this medicine. If you pregnant or planning to become pregnant during the course of the treatment with Generic Soma (carisoprodol), then inform your pharmacist or doctor. Generic Soma should not be given to children younger than 12 years.
